The food

The menu's (sample shown below) are written and balanced to allow you enjoy a full 3 courses, from the tantalising starters, succulent mains, and indulgent desserts.

Should you choose to go straight to the main course then please be advised that there will be a short delay while the food is prepared freshly for you.

2 courses £29.00


A complimentary bread board will be provided to begin your meal.

Additional bread boards can be ordered at any time.

Starters

Cauliflower velouté, white stilton toasts.
Wild mushrooms, sweet tomato, seeded puff.
Caramelised scallops, peanut risotto, citrus mayo.
Exmoor lamb sweetbreads, warm forestière salad.
Baked John Dory, pink fur apple potato and spring onion salad.


Main course

Study of salmon, Salmon faggot, smoked salmon and champagne jelly, crab and salmon sausage, shellfish jus.
Onion marmalade and field mushroom suet pudding, vegetable jus.
Somerset pork tenderloin, creamed bacon leeks, marjoram macaroni cheese.
Aubergine and chickpea cannelloni, confit red pepper.
Pan fried sea bass, tomato saag aloo, bhajee, lime crème fraiche.
‘Hotpot’, Slow braised ox cheeks, baby carrots, savoy cabbage, potato layer.


Desserts

Poached baby pear, spice panna cotta, mulled flavours.
Chocolate, coffee and lime cappuccino, hazelnut biscotti.
Blood orange tart, ruby ice and orange glace.
Mendip Moments ice cream, clotted cream.
West Country cheeses, chutney, crackers.
